 TEED-3008: INTRODUCTION TO
  EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

The creation of puppets was one of the many things we learned in this course. For our final project, we had to create our own puppets and write a short play where we would use them. The play had to be recorded so that we could submit the video online as evidence of our work. Some people worked in groups, but I chose to work alone so I could have complete creative liberty. The script for my play was based off one of my favorite children's books: A Dog's Life: The Autobiography of a Stray by Ann M. Martin. To save money, the four puppets and the backdrop I used for the play were created only with materials that were present in my household. When it was time to record and publish the video, I experimented major technological difficulties. My original take, which I had edited using iMovie, was lost. The professor had to give me an extension so I could complete my project, since I had to record a new take from scratch. This was a very stressful process, but, eventually, I managed to submit my project. Today, I can look back and say that creating the puppets was a fun and rewarding process, in which I developed skills I would use for the future.
