 INGL-3222: INTRODUCTION TO LITERATURE II

Poetry was one of the subjects we focused on for a long time in this course. I was able to learn a lot about the different types of poetry and its elements. To finish our discussion on the topic, each student had to prepare a presentation in which they would analyze one of Shakespeare's sonnets and, later, share their work with the rest of the class. My presentation was about Sonnet 128, and in it I discussed and broke down the poem's structure and form, rhyme, meter, literary devices, themes, emotional impact, and meaning. I believe this is one of the best academic presentations I have created during my post-secondary studies. I put much effort into properly analyzing the sonnet and it payed off, as the professor expressed that I had done a good job.
