 INGL-3231: ADVANCED EXPOSITORY WRITTING I

One of the first assignments we had to complete in this course, was to write a literary narrative in MLA format. Despite the selection of the topic being up to us, the professor suggested that we wrote about a time where we were able to develop our communication skills in a certain area. I did not have to think too much about what topic I was going to choose, as I had a story from my childhood that would fit the professor's prompt. My literary narrative was titled Forced to Learn English as a Second Language, and it recounted the story of how I learned to speak English with greater fluency in the third grade. The professor expressed to me that she loved my work and that, with some corrections, she would eventually like to have it published in the university's English Department magazine. This is probably one of the best pieces I have written during my post-secondary studies.
